Barefoot Entrepreneur Takes To The London Stage

Barefoot entrepreneur Dawn Gibbins MBE has taken to the stage at two London landmark venues.

The former Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year was invited as a keynote speaker to address the Institute of Director’s Annual Chartered Directors’ Conference.

She joined other guests including His Excellency Mr Shiv Shankar Mukherjee, Indian High Commissioner to the Court of St James.

The energetic speaker then addressed guests at the iconic British Library, at a major celebration of entrepreneurship, entitled ‘Small Companies, Global Ambitions.’

Dawn said: “It was an honour to take to the stage at two such high profile events.”

Earlier this year the mother-of-two sold her global business Flowcrete, which she built up from a start-up in the 1980s to a major international company, with offices in 30 countries.

Now Dawn has launched a new business venture, Barefoot Living, which combines her love of flooring with her passion for health, wellbeing and Feng Shui.

Based in Bosley, on the outskirts of Congleton in Cheshire, Barefoot Living has just launched its latest therapeutic floor to homes within the county – Hot Rocks, which offers a foot massaging stone carpet finish, with underfloor heating built in.
