Congleton Beartown communications – Best in the country!
"I am so thrilled that our efforts for Congleton have been recognised with yet another award. According to our peers in the communications world, the team and volunteers at Congleton Beartown Ltd ran the most effective "Best local Community Initiative" in the country.
This speaks volumes for the hard work and commitment that has been put into the project by our school children, teachers and volunteers. Achieved with the assistance of Cheshire East Council and Congleton Town Council and with logistics support from Plus Dane.
The award was made at the Comedy Club in Manchester on the evening of the 15th of November.
How it all began
In 2008, Dawn began a campaign to make her home town of Congleton the best place to live, work and visit. It all began with a Feng Shui survey of the environment....
... since then the town has won so many accolades, has featured on TV and Radio, complete with the stunningly successful Beartown Mania.
One of the many awards included 'Best local community website', sponsored and funded by Dawn on behalf of the community. |
