Dawn Gibbins joins judging panel for Growing Business Awards

The Growing Business Awards are the UK’s largest and longest-running awards for entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized companies. Dawn is delighted to be joining a long list of leading entrepreneurs who have participated as judges.

“The Awards – sponsored by Real Business and the CBI – have been described as ‘The business equivalent of the Oscars’, Dawn explains. “And This year is the tenth anniversary of the Awards, so we do want to make it a particularly special event”.

Over the past decade, they have welcomed and honoured a wealth of exceptional entrepreneurs and companies, including Bill Gates, Sir Richard Branson and James Dyson.

Winners will be announced at The Growing Business Awards Gala Dinner, held on Thursday 27 November at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square. The awards will be presented by Shadow Foreign Secretary William Hague MP.

“Judging takes place on the morning of Monday, October 13 at the headquarters of the CBI at Centre Point, where we will interview the candidates for the Entrepreneur, Young Entrepreneur, Company and Young Company of the Year, says Dawn. “I am thrilled to be associated with this important event, inspiring successful and emerging entrepreneurs.”

The awards dinner and ceremony itself, takes place on November 27. Hosted by the CBI and Real Business, the Awards are free to enter. The closing date for entries is 19 September.
